Grenache has long been held in high esteem by Barossa winemakers. Despite being overlooked elsewhere due to a workhorse history, it has hidden depths and great potential.  Like a Rough Diamond, ordinary at first glance, its real beauty as a jewel is only revealed through cutting and polishing.

'Full-weighted. Boasting old vine character in spades. While this is distinctly older school, promoting fruit sweetness, the grape tannins and structural attributes are palpable. And appreciated. Things change. For the better. Very attractive. Clove, darker riffs on mulled cherry and raspberry and root spice. Mulberry pie. Gently reductive. A bit confected.
